Toronto, ON. Pure Industrial announced today that David Owen, Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to the additional role of President of the company, effective immediately. A proven leader in the real estate industry, David is responsible for Pure’s operations, with a focus on company strategy, corporate and real estate operations and portfolio management.

David has contributed to the significant growth and success of the company since it was acquired by Blackstone and Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2018. David Owen joined Pure Industrial in 2016 and has held roles of increasing responsibility since. Previously, he spent time at a retail private equity real estate fund manager, and prior to that, at a privately managed real estate funds group focused on investing in and lending on Canadian urban real estate. He has an Honours B.A. (Economics) from The University of Toronto and is a CFA Charterholder.
