Toronto, ON. Today, Pure Industrial expands its team with the addition of Ian Passmore as Senior Vice President, Investments. Effective immediately, Ian will oversee Pure’s Investment and Development teams as we work to strengthen our industrial real estate footprint in Canada.

more than 14 years of experience in acquisition and asset management roles in North America, with a wealth of knowledge across all major property sectors and markets within Canada.
In his new role with Pure, Ian will be working closely with the executive team in the execution of strategies that will generate a competitive return on investment. He will focus on the creation of value through the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of industrial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and developments across Canada.

Ian Passmore joins Pure Industrial from Brookfield Asset Management where he was responsible for acquisitions and asset management across Brookfield’s Real Estate and Infrastructure groups. Ian has also supported the investments team at Square Mile Capital Management, a New York-based real estate private equity firm focusing on equity and credit investments across the US, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) within the real estate investments group. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
