Pure Industrial named one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for second consecutive year

Pure Industrial (“Pure”) is proud to announce it has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for the second consecutive year. This recognition is a testament to Pure’s ongoing efforts to create an environment where all team members feel supported, inspired, and trusted.

Canada’s small and medium enterprises (SME) sector is critical to the national economy and responsible for over two-thirds of the country’s private-sector employment. Now in its twelfth year, this award competition recognizes SMEs that offer the country’s best workplaces and people-focused policies.

Employers are evaluated regarding eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

“We continuously strive to create the best environment for our invaluable team members, so this recognition is rewarding,” said David Owen, President and Chief Operating Officer, Pure. “I am proud of our team and our dedication to supporting employee health and wellness, engagement and collaboration, and professional growth through our programs.”

In addition to industry-leading health and wellness coverage, Pure offers a comprehensive range of programs to support its employees, including flexible work policies, healthcare spending accounts, RRSP matching, professional development programs, tuition subsidies, and an annual retreat for all team members to connect, learn and be inspired together.

Pure is reviewing and evolving its employee programs on a continuous basis. Recently, after a successful period of team growth, the company implemented several new initiatives this year to champion employee engagement, including a new employee-driven recognition award program and a new service recognition program.

“We are focused on creating an environment where our team members are inspired and trusted, so they can bring their best every day,” says Deanna Ramoul, Vice President, Customer and Brand. “When you give that trust, in turn, you get back the high level of performance, top tier customer service, and collaborative team environment we’re known for.”
